NSW Active & Creative Kids Vouchers
2 × $50 vouchers per child, per year
Towards the cost of registration or membership for sport and active recreation.
What is it?
The NSW Government's Active & Creative Kids program provides vouchers to help families with the cost of getting their children involved in sport, fitness, and creative activities. Each eligible child can receive two $50 vouchers per calendar year.
Who is eligible?
Families who receive:
- Family Tax Benefit Part A, and/or
- Family Tax Benefit Part B
The child must be aged 4.5 to 18 years and enrolled in school (or registered for home schooling) in NSW.
How to apply
- Visit Service NSW and log in or create an account.
- Apply for your vouchers (two per child per year).
- You'll receive a voucher code for each.
- Present the voucher code when you register your child for sport.
Which sports accept it?
Most organised sport clubs in Port Macquarie-Hastings accept Active Kids vouchers, including clubs registered with PlayHQ, MySideline, PlayFootball, and other approved registration platforms. Check with individual clubs when registering.
Tips
- Apply for your vouchers early — they're available from 1 January each year.
- You can use one voucher per registration. If a sport costs more than $50, the voucher covers part of it.
- Vouchers expire on 31 December of the year they're issued.
- Both Creative and Active vouchers can be used for sport.
